To our valued customers,
As we follow the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19), the health and safety of our employees and customers is our top priority. Consistent with guidance from public health experts, we have adjusted our operating procedures to help avoid the spread of this virus while continuing to provide the same excellent service you’ve come to expect from SLGi.
As of 4/1/2020: Our laboratory remains open for business and is committed to carrying out our work under these difficult circumstances. If things change, this page will reflect it.
For our local customers, we encourage the use of our Sample Drop Box–located conveniently beside our front gate–to help maintain social distancing during this period. The Sample Drop Box will be monitored hourly, but please be sure to notify us before or after drop off at 804-353-6778, or [email protected], especially if your samples are under a holding time or a rush priority. You can find copies of our chain of custody forms in the topmost drop box compartment labeled “U.S. Mail”, or on our website at this link.
If you do need to enter our facility, please follow the recommended CDC guidelines of regular hand-washing and maintaining physical distance from other individuals. If you feel that you are experiencing any symptoms of the COVID-19 virus or may have been exposed, we ask that you only utilize the Sample Drop Box, or submit your samples by Mail, UPS or FedEx.
We are still doing our best to meet any and all turnaround requests, but should the situation become more severe, we ask for your understanding and leniency should we become unable to do so. If further updates in our operational plan become necessary, we will be in contact via e-mail. Thank you for your patience and cooperation during this challenging time.
