| ARSENIC IN DRINKING WATER CHANGES IN APPROVED METHOD | |
| The EPA has adopted a new Maximum Contaminant Level of 10 ppb (or 0.010 ppm or 0.010 mg/L), a law which becomes effective on January 23, 2006. | |
| After Jan 23, 2006, EPA 200.9, Graphite Furnace, is the ONLY METHOD THAT WE OFFER THAT IS SENSITIVE ENOUGH FOR ARSENIC IN DRINKING WATER. | |
| After that date, we CANNOT run an Arsenic Drinking Water sample by ICP [EPA 200.7]. The method will not be approved for As either by EPA or our certifying agencies. | |
